Aquarius Tilda

Have I ever got a loaded card to share with you today!!  It's been awhile since I've shared a Magnolia but I made this one at a crop I went to some time ago.

I masked 2 images together called "Aquarius Tilda" and "Oyster w/Pearl" and used some gorgeous papers from Live and Love Crafts called "Shoreline Treasures" by Pion Designs.

I've used 2 fun chipboard pieces from Southern Ridge Trading Company and my first being this super cute starfish (NAT-320).  I covered it with Tim Holtz paint dauber first and then his Rock Candy and thanks to a friend, she pointed out that it has a bit of glitter in it.  I DIDN'T KNOW THAT otherwise I would have had my own months ago!  BUT good to know now!!

My 2nd piece of chipboard from SRTC is this super cute piece of coral.  LUV IT!!  I altered it the same way as I did the starfish above. (NAT-331).

How cute is this resin seahorse?!  OMG!!  One of those HAD TO HAVE things.  hee hee  And how gorgeous is this lace from LLC called "Sophie"?!!

I really enjoyed decking this card out with my usual supplies including the sailboat charm and rolled flower from LLC.

And lastly my colored image.  I actually managed to get a good enough shot so you can see the glitter on the pearl.  I luuuuuv glitter!

Thanks for stopping by!

Pretty Papers

Welcome back for another viewing of another card creation!  I just wanted to share some belated news with you guys that I haven't had a chance at yet.  I've been asked to be on the DT for:

M R Designs digi papers!!!

WOO HOO!  Of course I didn't hesitate because they are sooooo pretty!!  So here's my creation from her newest set showing "Vintage Garden Party".

The flowers are also created by her to match the papers and those are called "Vintage Garden Party Elements Pack 1".  She even makes another pack filled with sentiments and tags called "Vintage Garden Party Elements Pack 2" as well as inserts for your cards "Vintage Garden Party Inserts".

So I learned to do the coolest thing!!  To merge my digi papers onto a digi image!!!  I used this sweet little image from Tiddly Inks called "Celebrate Joyfully" who comes with a sentiment and extra flowers as well.  I actually used 2 different papers to merge, from M R Designs "Vintage Garden Party" so I could, of course, match my papers.  I learned to do this tutorial in Alyce's clothing class, totally worth EVERY PENNY!

I'm going to enter this card into Tiddly Inks as their challenge is BFF.  It's very difficult to take a picture of anything that reflects and my labeler tape pieces always do.  So here is a close up of what's in my resin frame on the card.

Ok off to mow the lawn!  Good thing it's small as we are going through a heat wave right now but I'll only be out there for 20mins.  Besides, our a/c works so well I'm actually cold right now but I'm NOT complaining.  Thanks for stopping by!

July Kit and Clowder Challenge

Welcome back to another challenge at Kit and Clowder and this month we are focusing on "clothing techniques!"  I tried to color pleats - still practicing.  LOL!!  We are being sponsored by Art by Miran  and this precious image is called "Molly".  If you'd like to cheque out more adorable images check out the Etsy store or FB group.

For more inspiration on clothing techniques visit the Kit and Clowder challenge and check out the K&C DT cards.  They did an amazing job!

I chose to use some gorgeous papers sold at Whimsy Stamps from M R Designs called "Clarabelle".  Luv them!!

I've also used some gorgeous pieces from Southern Ridge Trading Company.  The flourish by the flowers is the first one and it comes in a big sheet, which Karen sold at a recent crop I was at.  If you are interested please let me know.

I love making glitter butterflies.  I cut the first layer using my TH butterfly border with chipboard from SRTC, cut another piece using the papers from M R Designs and glued it down.  Then I adhered some double sided tape to some vellum and cut one more butterfly border die.  Once cut, I peeled back the tape, then dipped in GlitterRitz.  Sooooo pretttttyyyyy!  LOL!

The butterfly (INS-256) on the right is from Southern Ridge Trading Company which I dabbed with a white Tim Holtz dauber, let it dry and sprayed with a mist.

Loved adding these pearls and then I topped all the flowers off with Stardust Stickles.

Ok that was a lot for one post wasn't it?  LOL!  Well I hope you have a wonderful and hopefully creative weekend!  Off to play with my sister.  YAY!!  hee hee
