Tim Holtz PRINTER'S BOX!

FINALLY!!  I finally finished it!!  I started it about a month ago and I just finished it this past weekend.  WOO!  Normally I give away everything that I make, but this year I've worked on a few projects just for me.

My husband asked me when I first started working on it, who it was for.  I said him.  He seemed oddly happy but then he asked me again when it was done just to make sure.  ha ha ha!

SUPER PICTURE HEAVY!

This little sled was from Michael's.  I sanded it a bit and then distressed with some cocoa Momento ink to make it look a little "used".  hee hee  Then I added an old time pair of skates from Tim Holtz just hanging around.

Another item from Tim Holtz is this battery operated lantern.  CUTE OR WHAT?!!

My "WISHES" bottle is filled with glitter and my "LISTS" bottle is filled with cinnamon sticks.

The bells were some I had in my basket making stash from last year.  They came pre-glittered and pre-flocked.  The brown looking berries are from LLC.

The star is from Melissa Frances that I painted gold and sanded.  The tree - another TH piece and the deer are from my Wild Orchid stash.  On each of the compartments edges, I covered them with Martha Stewart texture (snow) and covered with very fine glitter.  After that, I added more snow and then the iridescent flakes to the bottom one.

The birdcage is from Prima and use to be gold but I painted it using my Inka-Gold paints.  More berries from LLC.

A pine cone of some sort (probably from my back yard) and a small tree spring, not real cuz I didn't want the pine needles falling off.  LOL!

This little cherub came from LLC, which use to be white until I covered it with ink and wiped away the excess.  The JOY sentiment are some left over small scrabble tiles I had that I covered with some letters from (oh gosh sorry I can't remember) and then covered with Crackle Accents.  This picture shows the glitter really nicely on the edges.

Wow my memory is really failing me.  I'm sure you'll remember where this bulb has come from ... all I know is I need more.  LOL!  So cute!

For the top of the box I created a poinsettia using the Tim Holtz die and then a red one from my stash, topped with some bells.

The tag is from this year's Maja Design "A Gift For You" collection and I used other pieces to cover the whole box and the inside of each compartment.

Thank you so much for visiting!!  Takes a lot to take and edit so many pictures.  One day I'm gonna have an awesome photo booth set up for my stuff.  hee hee

Going to enter the Simon Says Monday Challenge - Anything Goes

Ppinky and Michele R Designs

Today I have a super sweet card using Michele R Designs papers and cupcake wrapper, however wait until you see what I have inside!  This set of papers is called "Merry and Bright" and I knew as soon as I saw it I was gonna have to use it because it has PINK in it!!  I LOVE non-traditional colors for Christmas and winter cards!

I distressed all edges with cocoa Momento ink as well as the poinsettia's.  The border frame (borders are my favorite!!!) is from Southern Ridge Trading Company.   FRA-130

The poinsettia's are from Dee's Distinctively dies, which you can layer up to make a small or big flower.  It's a very versatile set as it comes with 4 layers of flower.

The Tim Holtz snowflake border and a layer of the poinsettia's is corrugated white sparkle paper I bought from Micheal's half price and then 25% off my order!!  WHUT?!  YA!!  WOO!!

This image is from Ppinkydolls and is "Lily with Snowsisters" and awww she was fun to color!!  The present and wagon were a bit of a challenge because they were so small but OMG so stinkin' CUTE!!  I added some Stickles under her and I can't believe you can see them!  My Copic colors are listed below.

The wood "Joy" sentiment is also from Southern Ridge Trading Co. and comes in a variety set of 6.  XMAS-460  I distressed the top with cocoa Momento and then added Stickles on the top half.  How do you like my snowballs?!  ha haaaa haa!!

This box is from Michele R Designs "Merry and Bright" cupcake boxes.  It is soooo easy to make!!  Print out the template, cut, score and paste away!!  I added a strip of the corrugated white sparkle paper from Michael's, cut the center sentiment and flag strip that comes with the template and layered up with the wooden snowflakes.  Added a premade flower and tied together a twine bow and VOILA!  FINITO!

See?  Who says you have to put a cupcake inside?!!  YUMMAY!!!  These icy squares just melt in your mouth!!  I know, I had more than a few.  LOL!

I know I'm repeating myself on telling you how much I love Michele R Designs because of the instant download availability but really!!  Shopping from the comfort of your own home?!!  YUP!!  YES YES YES I SAY!!

New to the store - love this color combo!

I think this is my last Christmas card for this year.  Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Merry Christmas Tilda

I made this card no other than for fun!!  FUN RIGHT????  I KNOW!!  Well I do have a few reasons but no obligations.

The first reason was I got my NEW BIG DIES from Go Kreate!  OMG MORE FUN!  Not sure when the next time it will be that I have a square card.  LOL!  This super cute image is called Merry Christmas Tilda and the are from Bo Bunny with all kinds of extra's!!

I used this card to showcase my new 8 point die and the cutting and embossing oval you can purchase at the Noor! Design U.K store.  They are GORGEOUS!  I also used a poinsettia die from Tim Holtz (bigger one) and a Magnolia doohickey topped off with these shabby bells from LLC.

This stocking was in the Magnolia Doohickey Club magazine volume #2.

These bark stars from LLC and I added some Glossy Accents on top, then sprinkled with Tim Holtz distress rock candy.  I wanted some sparkle but not too much.  Kind of a neat look!

Another view of the bark star with the TH rock candy glitter on it.  I also put some on the spool and sentiment tag.  Cute huh?!!

And a close up of Merry Christmas Tilda herself!!

I'm actually going to join in on a couple of challenges!  Something I haven't done in ages!!

Kit and Clowder Challenge

We all have to learn right?  So last week I tackled this super cute image "Winterlight Wishes" by Tiddly Inks who is sponsoring the Kit and Clowder December challenge of:

ANIMALS!!

Of course I followed Alyce's class on it, which you can find on the Kit and Clowder website, "All About Animals".

Last weekend I was so excited to receive 2 sets of XXL dies from Go Kreate, that I couldn't even wait for my Grand Caliber to show up before I started using them.  To make it a little easier I did use a smaller size, which created a smaller card but quicker!!  hee hee

I cut some Magnolia doohickey trees (slender fir), added some Martha Stewart texture (snow) and then dashed them with some glitter.

This snowflake was from the Magnolia Doohickey Volume 2 "All I Want For Christmas".  I also used the Magnolia "Wrapped so Lovely" heart tag, tied a string bow and added a Christmas charm from Tim Holtz.

Christmas Angel Marci

I finally got my colored image on to a card!!!  "Christmas Angel Marci" from La La Land Crafts is a new digi available now.  Isn't she cute?!!   And this month they are sponsoring the Kit and Clowder "Christmas" challenge for a $25 voucher for their store.  You only have a few days left (Sat - Aus) and I just KNOW some of you have xmas cards on hand so if you get a minute just upload your card!!

I used the ever so gorgeous Maja Road's new "A Gift for You" Christmas collection.

The straw is a little bit of a funny story.  Sandy from LLC challenged me to use one and I was like "how am I gonna.....waaaaaiiittt a minuuuteee" and BAM my brain came up with this!!  Kind of like a little flag pole topped with a globe or something.  I like how it turned out but I think I might need some more pearl pins and straws from LLC very soon!  LOL!!

The Magnolia angel is also from LLC.  So cute and I think I need more of these too.  LOL!!

I  kind of played a bit with this pic so I could make it show the glitter on her wings and the ground.  Christmas is all about the glitter!  RIGHT?!  LOL!!

Thanks for stopping by to peek!!

Bike Ride!

I just HAD to share this gorgeous product I received as a gift from my friend Karen for my birthday.  I loved it so much I ended up buying a few more altered projects for myself to create.  LOL!  She's very inspiring!   The bike is from Prima and Karen decked it out with some gorgeous flowers.

You can buy these chairs and fence online at her store - Southern Ridge Trading Company.

Love the little "Friendship Garden" inside and she also created the wood saying on the front as well.

I couldn't add the pictures until Simone got hers as well, which was just last weekend and of course she LOVED IT TOO!  We both thank you sooooooo much!!

FROSTY!!!

Last year I made 2 glass block pieces and gave them away.  I had a 3rd left over that I never got around to until this year so decided it's high time I keep something for myself!!  hee hee   So I just thought I'd share my craft little project with you!!

I stuffed a strand of electric lights into the bottom but a person could use the battery operated ones for portability, which once these ones burn out, I just might do.

I had this little snowman from an xmas basket I received over the last few years.  I added a bit of ribbon to tie in with the black lettering on the block.  Originally I had a plain block and brushed on some Martha Stewart frost then AFTER I found it in a spray can.  I'm pretty sure that would have been far easier.  LOL!

Aren't these candy cane candies the cutest?  I bought those from Michael's and always when everything is on sale!  Note to self - buy more after Christmas this year.  ha ha ha!

Another picture I took in a different area of the house.  It's weird how you can't see any lights in this shot and the glass block just GLOWS!!  BRIGHT!!

Anyway, that's my share for today!!  Thanks for looking!

Cupcake Honey - Take 2

Finally!  I'm sure you'll remember me coloring this (Cupcake Honey), well I made it into a card and finally get to post it.  I was all so proud of myself for being on time with Aunt Barb's birthday card.  Oh a few more days until it's her birthday so I was weeks ahead.  IT WAS LAST WEDNESDAY!  OMG how in the heck did I manage to miss that?!!  Well I guess that just means she gets to have her birthday just carry on over I week or something.  LOL!!

The papers are from Michele R Designs and one of the new one called "Designer Grunge".  I'm sure I have mentioned to you that I do luuuuuv these papers and that they are INSTANT downloading available.

As per my usual, I added some stunning Wild Orchid Craft flowers and the pins and pearl ribbon are from Live and Love Crafts

Annnndddd more Wild Orchid Craft flowers along with an "oh so pretty" resin butterfly I picked up from LLC as well.

Not a lot of pictures today as I tried to keep this one a bit more simpler to show off that gorgeous paper again!

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Another Christmas Stocking

So a few posts ago I said I would be here to share another stocking from Southern Ridge Trading Company and here is mine.  For starters I distressed the whole stocking with my Distrezz-It-All, (freakin' love that thing!) then distressed with Momento cocoa ink and added Gesso over top off EVERYTHING!  I too used Maja Designs "Vintage Frost Basics" for my stocking as Simone did.

Sometimes embellishments come in the cheapest forms.  My piece of corrugated cardboard layer was FREE!  You can't beat that huh?  The gorgeous lace is from LLC as well as that pearl center.  The resin stars are Melissa Frances and flowers from Wild Orchid.

Love this Tim Holtz poinsettia.  I layered using the Maja papers but one of my layers is vellum, which I adhered double sided tape to, peeled off and dipped into Glitter Ritz glitter to show a shimmery frosted leave layer.  The center was from LLC that I had in my stash and finally got a chance to use it.

I did the same thing with the wings.  Applied double-sided Sookwang tape to the vellum, cut the vellum with Magnolia doohickey wings, peeled off the double-sided tape and dipped in Glitter-Ritz.  LOVE this technique!

This is one of my favorite sentiment chipboard pieces from Southern Ridge Trading Company but you get 3 in the package so that's a bonus - Noel, Joy and Peace - XMAS-160.  I covered it with TH distress paint, let it dry and then added Martha Stewart texture over top.

More chipboard from SRTC, some Wild Orchid flowers and the nice big grey flower is Prima.

I luuuuuv my resin pieces but these angels are really super cute.  The rolled flowers are from LLC and same with the white Kort and Godt chrysanthemum.

This old vintage photo came from LLC too but I can't seem to find this one anymore.  However, there are still tons to choose from.

And there we have it!!  The 2nd stocking.  Thanks for popping by!
Hugs!
