Magnolia-licious & Wee Stamps Challenge

LOVE IS IN THE AIR

It's the time of year for weddings and romance so this week at Magnolia-licious and Wee Stamps challenge blog, we're asking you to make a card using the love theme.  I decided to make a more versatile "love" card for any occasion.

Today I'm using the new Doo Bee Pops Tilda and Special Moments paper pack and WOW is it ever pretty!!  I even tried out the new Orchid Magnolia Doohickey.  I had to do a little research on what they really looked like so I hope it at least resembles an orchid.  LOL!

The sentiment "With All My Love" is also from Magnolia.

I colored this Tilda 2 ways.  One with my Copics, which was hard because there's absolutely no shape to the dress and the second way is to add DooBeePops paper.

Check out the new collection "Special Moments" that is on sale now and also the new MagnoliaInk magazine called "Sea Breeze" is available and loaded with lots of inspiration.

Don't forget about our Share & Get Paid program where you can earn money just for referring an item.

THANKS FOR STOPPING BY!

This card is for sale on our Etsy store:

LLC Blog Hop

So are you wondering why I'm participating in the Live and Love Crafts blog hop?  BECAUSE THEY ASKED ME TO JOIN THE DT!!!  Crazy kids!!  I'm so excited!!!  AND a bit freaked out but I'll try to bring MA "A" GAME!

OH MA GOODNESS I have some extraordinary products to share with you!!  Live and Love Crafts sells THEE most amazing embellishments and papers.

If you came from Karita's blog (isn't she something?!!), you're going the right way.  If you've just joined, you'll really want to start at the LLC blog because there is so much eye candy on this hop you just can't miss it!!

The idea was to use our favorite LLC products but since I've only been using them for the past month, I haven't quite narrowed it down yet.  I LOVE THEM ALL!  LOL!  I did however, seek her out because of the amazing papers she has from Maja and Pion Designs.  GORGEOUS!

I made this grad card for my stepdaughter and used Saturated Canary's "Fancy".  I wanted to stick with the vintage idea hence the black and white image.  The paper on my card is "Vintage Spring" from Maja Designs.

I have to admit I'm also loving the new Frantage which I've used to cover this Prima metal clock paperclip with and both items also come from LLC.

The Kort and Godt rolled flowers are incredible and I love the paper they are made with.  I'm going to get them in every color I am sure!!  Just give me time.  LOL!  I have listed every item that I've used on my card that you can get from LLC at the end of the post with quick links.

If you happen to make it to each blog be sure to comment because these are the giveaways.  Yummy or WHAT?!  There is more information on the LLC inspiration blog so make sure you stop by to get all the deets!

Here is the blog hop list so if you lose your way you can bounce right back!!

So as you can see your next stop is at Elin's blog and OH MA GOODNESS she's crazy awesome!

Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Magnolia-licious Summer Blog Hop - Picture Heavy!

Ok so now that you've come from the sensational Sheri's blog and seen it all you're thinking....OMG WHAT COULD POSSIBLY BE NEXT?!!  That's what I thought too so I kind of really pushed the envelope on this one.  For the life of me I couldn't think of anything to do but I'm sure after hopping through this myself I'll do the forehead smack thing.  DOH!  Why didn't I think of that?!!

So my project for today is a jar wrapper for displaying homemade blueberry jam!  Yup I made it ... funny thing...we don't really eat much jam!  LOL!!

I know lots of canning goes on near the end of summer and it gave me the chance to use this sweetest image called "Blueberry Tilda".  I also made a card so you could give away both items as a gift.  The image on the card is called "I'm In Love" but as you can see, she's very versatile.  The bench is also from Magnolia.

I made my own shabby flower and distressed the edges then used some pieces from Wild Orchid Crafts for my center.

All my dragonflies are distressed with brown (actually the whole project is) and then the blue flowers and dragonflies are touched with Stardust Stickles on the wing tips.  I love the blueberry paper from Magnolia but unfortunately it's not longer available.  I don't like using stuff you can't buy however, any of the Magnolia papers are gorgeous!!  Especially from the new Special Moments line.

I don't think I've ever used this many Magnolia Doohickey's on one project EVER!!  But I love them so much!  So seen here are: dragonfly, leaf, clouds, fence, grass and another leaf die.  WOW!!

AND THERE YOU HAVE IT!!  I hope you've enjoyed the blog hop and if you've missed anyone or anything you can head back over to the Magnolia-licious challenge blog where all the greatness started to check out the details.

COMMENTS!!  As you hopped your way through I hope you left comments because I hear there's some prizes to be given out.  WOO HOO what's a blog hop without prizes?!!

LDRS - Walkie

"Hello friend" she says!  "Walkie", available at Little Darlings Rubber Stamps, is just the sweetest! And I like the other one to match her called ... yup you guess it "Talkie".  Adorable!!

I added a sentiment from the "Friendship Sentiments" collection that says:

"A friend is there when you need her most,
Down the street or coast to coast."

This is also available at LDRS and tons more!!  Each collection has so many different expressions and this one comes with 18 different sayings!

I didn't add too much to my card this time.  I wanted to keep it a bit more simpler this time.  Sometimes a little is lot.  Not usually for me but today it was.  LMBO!

LDRS also has a blog "Little Darlings DT Inspiration" filled with amazing creations from the DT and posts every 2nd day so that gives you tons of inspiration when you need it.  You can even get updates directly to your inbox.  Handy huh?!  I think so!

Magnolia-licious & Wee Stamps Wee Wednesday

Welcome back to another Wee Wednesday!!!  This is the day we always like to showcase Wee Stamps by Sylvia Zet as these gorgeous stamps are for sale on the Magnolia-licious online store.

This image is one of the newest images done and her name is "Rosetta".  She's just so pretty!!  I've used some white Frantage around the image but it's a little hard to see.  I also used some shabby pink Frantage on a strand of white pearls and it looks so cool IRL!!  But if you're going to do this, do it quickly cuz they will start to melt a little.  LOL!

My little "HAPPY" clipboard.

The white lacy flower is actually made by Magnolia.  The little pink butterfly was from a bracelet I use to wear but the silver turned color so I covered it with shabby pink Frantage and same with the Prima metal flower under the pearl flower.

New "Special Moments" collection on sale now

Luscious Lace

This week at Magnolia-licious & Wee Stamps Challenge we are challenging you to use your

LUSCIOUS LACE!!

Be it cloth lace or paper lace it's still lace.  This week "Moulin Rouge Tilda" is kicking up her heels and having a great time!   The image behind her is called "Theatre Curtain" and both are from the recent "Once Upon a Time" collection.

I used various pieces of lace from my stash but I also use the Vintage Box Lacing Chocolate Magnolia Doohickey.  A little tip while using your very detailed dies is put wax paper between the die and cardstock.  It cuts nicer and helps pull all the excess paper away much easier.

I made some of my own flowers using a Spellbinder die, added some Frantage to many pieces (including a Prima metal rose) and used some gold Magnolia vintage berries.

ENABLER ALERT!!  HAVE YOU SEEN???  The new Magnolia collection is up for sale now!!  AGAIN OMG Pauline has outdone herself!  It's called SPECIAL MOMENTS and special it is!  There are quite a few new wedding images available so please check them out.

Also available now the Magnolia Ink magazine "Sea Breeze"
Join us in this ever so easy lace challenge at Magnolia-licious and Wee Wednesday challenge blog.  Also, don't forget if you comment here or on any of the blog posts during the week ANY week, you're entered for a chance to win!!

LDRS: Saturated Canary's "Tilly"

Back today with lovely "Tilly", a Saturated Canary image available at Little Darlings Rubber Stamps.  Normally fairies are not my thing but OMG SHE'S CUTE!!  Even her name is cute!

I've also used some sheets from the "Summer Sorbet" collection also available at LDRS and I'm sure I've never used more paper from one collection than this one.  They are just so easy to use!

Here's a close up of the wings I made.  I put Sookwang double sided tape on some vellum then punched it with the Magnolia "Cute Wings" Doohickey die.  When I peeled off the tape I covered them with Glitter Ritz.  They are super pretty!!

This butterfly started out as just a plain gold paperclip from Prima.  I covered it with "Shabby Pink" Frantage.  CUTE!!!  I love doing that and you can check out a tutorial on the Frantage by Tracy from Crafteezee.  She shows how to add it to many embellishments to match your card.

For more inspiration on these beauties and many more you can check out the Little Darlings Inspiration blog.  The DT is incredible!!
