Barkerville 2008

Here's my long overdue LAST SUMMER scrap page of us with Sara & Ryan (my DH's kids) visiting Barkerville. For what should have been a warm, or in fact hot day in August, it was chilly!!! Only 7 degrees and normally it should be high 20's. Brrrrr! But we had fun anyway!
I really enjoyed doing the stitching and it was a lot quicker then I thought it was going to be.

Loveybella

Although I am probably late with this post I thought I would add it in anyway. I did the Sketch Saturday challenge but it's probably already the next Saturday their time. That's okay tho. I just wanted to try this sketch out. Had to dust off my Loveybella, which I need to do with a lot more of them too!

House Mouse

Here's a stamp I borrowed from my SIL and actually made the card for her bday. ha ha! I put liquid gloss on the cupcake then added Cupcake scent - so cute!

Gone Fishin'

I just love this saying and my FIL's bday is coming up so I thought I'd dust off my Gone Fishin' stamp set from See D's. I added some bubbles to the fish AFTER I took the picture and was too lazy to take another. LOL! I wanted to use the Tim Holtz snaps so I added another layer for the Happy Birthday Sentiment. I built the whole card around those snaps. LOL! I close the 2 layer sentiments using a teeny tiny paper clip by Tim Holtz as well.

Hoo Hoo There 2

I couldn't resist!! I had to do another one! I seem to be on a roll today so I took on the Taylored Expressions Challenge. Wow am I ever coming out of my shell!! hee hee!

Hoo Hoo There

I really enjoy using sketches but this is the first time I've actually taken one and used it for the challenge "on time". LOL! I used #34 Sketch Saturday for my layout.
I first fell in love with this stamp about four months ago but finally managed to find the stamp close to home. The bg papers are from CTMH and I colored the image using Copics.

Lily & Billy

I finally got to make a card with Lily & Billy! I bought it from Pink Cat Studio just before xmas and have just, this weekend, been able to make a card. WOW! I took a close up shot of the Copic glitter and it actually turned out. I colored using my Copics and the bg paper is from CTMH.

Ski Bunny - Hanna Stamps

I am playing with this stamp again because I have no idea how long the snow will last so I must use my snow stamps now. Ok, ok the snow isn't going anywhere for awhile, I was just wishing. Good grief!! I created this sample for my LSS who sells Hanna Stamps. She is so stinking cute!!

Whiff Of Joy

I'm not sure the actual name of this stamp but it's an image that Christine sent me awhile ago. I do know it's from Whiff of Joy and I finally got a chance to play with one and am deciding if I'm "Whiff" worthy. I used this sketch that was provided awhile ago by Whiff Of Joy Challenge:
and this was my end result:

Well? What do you think? How'd I do?

Winobella - Stamping Bella

Woo hoo Let's Party!! This time I used pink Copic glitter pen. hee hee. I used brown Stickles for the streamers and pulled my exacto knife through them to make the long and skinny. I picked up any leftover with a toothpick. Works great!! Nice to dress up my bella's in clothes I would love to wear!!

Snowbunnybella

I finally got to dig out Snowbunnybella for the first time this winter. She's one of my favorite bella's, aside from ........ well ...... all of them!! LOL! There are 2 things I can't seem to get away from right now. My nestabilities and my Copic glitter pens. They're all over EVERYTHING these days!! Loving brown with almost any color too!! I stickled the edges of the rounded square frame and oval frame. That's tricky. :)

Penguin Hugs

I hardly used my Penguin Hugs set last year so I dug it out and created this card for my aunt's birthday. Inside it says "Happy Brrrrrthday." So simple yet so amusing to me! CUTE! The border is a new QuicKutz template called Label. I used my clear Copic pen all over him then put the dimensional glaze over the whole penguin. It brought out the gold flecks on his head, which surprised me but I liked the end result.

Ski Bunny - Hanna Stamps

I completely cased this card but it was fun! I did a search on Splitcoast Stampers and found a bunch but this was my favorite! Check out Cami's blog at Stamp a Little Love Baby! She has great work on there! Thanks for the inspiration! I used Copics clear glitter on her fluffy hat and ski's and silver Copic pen on her goggle frames, poles and boot straps.

Christmas Card

I just had to share this card with you because I can't believe the detail to all of it. My friend Ralfie made it and said it was easy!!! Yikes! I would love to see one of her challenged cards! It is so cute!

Card Holder

I can't remember what this thing is called but my mom got it for me for christmas and it's just the coolest thing! I bought the magnetic flowers to stick to the clips. I just love it! It's not full yet but I'm waiting to fill it up soon! :)

YAY!!! I'M A WINNER!

I entered this card in the LSS christmas contest and I WON!!!! I think this is the first time I've ever won for an entry!! Very cool and thanks to everyone who voted for me!This is what I won: American Crafts Premium Ribbon, a gold Spica glitter pen (love them!), the new Dazzle VersaMark, A Rhonna Christmas chipboard, QuicKutz Deck the Halls tags, and 2 Inkadinkado stamps. Thanks to Tara & Julie at Creative Accents!

Changito Shovel

One of my favorites and now I'm so sad to have to put away my christmas stamps. However, I certainly have enough to not need to buy any next year. Need - pfffft - well we don't NEED stamps but I'm sure I'll WANT more!! LOL!

My Favorite Things

This is almost my last post for my xmas cards. I have one more but there were a few cards that I had to hang onto because people had to get them in the mail first! I found it really strange how the red actually went well with this card. I still think it's weird but it somehow works and I really liked it. I colored with Copics and used the clear Spica glitter pen on the snow.
